During her tenure at Freakonomics Radio, she developed and launched eight podcasts, leading a slate of shows that are among the highest grossing and most listened-to podcasts in the world.
Alison also spearheaded Audible’s entry into the always-on, available-everywhere podcast market, launching In The Room, Audible’s first weekly podcast, and providing strategic, operational, and editorial guidance for the company’s first foray into this market. Over her career she has covered business, politics, sports, social issues, and armed conflict, and has worked with media legends including Peter Jennings, Diane Sawyer, and Barbara Walters, and podcast hosts including Stephen Dubner, Angela Duckworth, Steve Levitt, and Sean Rameswaram. She has collaborated with media companies including SiriusXM, Audible, American Public Media, WNYC, The New York Times, ABC News, BBC, and Discovery.
